Zero Link solderless connectors
Change a connector without a hot work permit.
In many venues, soldering on site counts as hot work. That means a permit, RAMS, isolated smoke detectors and a fire watch that carries on long after the iron is off.
Zero Link puts a genuine Neutrik connector on a PCB with Phoenix Contact lever or push-in terminals, made by Kudos Technology, ATP's standard-products arm. No heat, no permit, back in service in minutes.
Hot work
A five-minute repair, a two-hour job
Swap one soldered connector on site and the job is rarely about the joint. It's about everything the venue has to put round it.
| Soldered repair on site | Zero Link |
|---|---|
| Request a hot work permit, often with RAMS and notice | No permit: no heat, no flame, no fumes |
| Venue isolates the smoke detectors in the work area | Fire system stays live |
| Fire watch during the work | Strip, insert, close the terminal |
| Fire watch continues, often 60 minutes or more | Test and go |
| Final check and permit sign-off | Done |
| Often not allowed in the last hour of the day | Any time, including mid-show changeovers |
Hot work rules vary by venue and insurer. Check the site rules for your venue.
How it terminates
Strip, insert, done
Here's how a cable goes into each Zero Link connector, viewed from behind the panel. No iron, no solder: strip the cable, push the cores in, done. The PCBs are made for us by Kudos Technology and every Zero Link is terminated the same way, to the ATP standard.

Why Zero Link
Proven on site.
Zero Link is built on Neutrik connectors, the industry standard for life on the road, and mounted on custom PCBs designed and made by Kudos Technology, ATP's standard-products arm. Every connector in the range has been through extensive testing, and Zero Link is already in service on live installations.
Swap in minutes
A connector fails at load-in or mid-tour, so change it at the rack, not back at the bench.
No soldering skill needed
Any crew member shown the terminal can terminate a cable. Your engineers stay on the jobs that need them.
A consistent, secure joint
Every conductor is clamped by a spring terminal. No dry joints, cold joints or scorched insulation.
Easy to service
Open it, check it, remake it. Replace the connector, not the loom.
For installed venue systems and touring packages alike. Maintenance teams keep systems running without a permit, and touring crews fix on the road, in the truck or the dressing room.

Built-in splits
Split out a speaker system at the connector
The speakON NL4 and NL8 versions of Zero Link have splits on the back, so you can patch and split out a speaker system right at the connector. The NL8 Split is in development; multipin versions are coming.
No double soldering: no doubling up cores in a solder cup.
No melted connectors: there's no heat near the insert.
Robust connections: every conductor is clamped by a spring lever terminal.
